"What a great showing last weekend. We wrapped up a very successful first week with a excellent finish at the tournament. Gold bracket round of 16 and tied for 9th place out of 52 teams is something to be very proud of. This team played smart, controlled volleyball from beginning to end including a great comeback win after dropping the first set in the round of 32. They could have easily packed it in there but rallied together to win in 3. That kind of mental toughness so early in the season bodes well for our long term success this year. We learned a lot about ourselves this weekend and will be able to be even better prepared for our upcoming matches."
